Gwangju Jeonnam Remicon Industrial Cooperative Association Donates Neighborly Love Fundraising Money
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Nodongil) announced on the 27th that members of the Gwangju Jeonnam Ready-Mixed Concrete Industry Cooperative collectively donated 5 million won, gathered little by little, to be used for neighbors in need.
The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of related officials including Kim Hodoo, Chairman of the Gwangju Jeonnam Ready-Mixed Concrete Industry Cooperative, and Kim Sanggyun, Secretary General of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea.
Kim Hodoo, Chairman of the Gwangju Jeonnam Ready-Mixed Concrete Industry Cooperative, said, “We appreciate the voluntary participation of members for the culture of love and sharing,” and added, “We will continue to repay the love of local residents through ongoing social contributions.”
He also added, “We will strive to become a trusted cooperative in the local community.”
Meanwhile, the Gwangju Jeonnam Ready-Mixed Concrete Industry Cooperative was established on January 17, 1994. It operates under the Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperative Act to protect the rights and interests of member companies producing ready-mixed concrete, a major material for construction work, promote mutual welfare among members, carry out cooperative projects, encourage members’ autonomous economic activities, and contribute to the balanced development of the national economy.
