Jeong Gyu-Young, CEO of Lorus, Appointed as New President of Korea Water Ski & Wake Sports Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Jung Kyu-young, CEO of Lorus Enterprise, will serve as the president of the Korea Water Ski & Wake Sports Association.
According to the Korea Water Ski & Wake Sports Association on the 26th, Jung was elected as the 20th president of the association in a by-election held the previous day, running unopposed. Since 2011, Jung has served as the president of the Stanford University Fencing Association in the United States, and since 2015, he has been the president of the nonprofit organization "Studying Athletes, Exercising Students." From 2017 to 2019, he worked as a member of the Korea Sports Council's Sports Club Development Committee. He also has ties with the Korea Water Ski & Wake Sports Association, having officially sponsored the association with clothing from his subsidiary "Version One," which he has operated since 2016.

Jung stated, "Based on the tradition and pride maintained by many executives, sponsors, coaches, athletes, and enthusiasts, I will work to nurture national representatives in water skiing and wake sports and expand the base of recreational sports."
