Lee Dong-myeon, Former KT Division Head, Appointed as New President of BC Card
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Lee Dong-myeon, former head of KT's Future Platform Business Division, has been appointed as the new CEO of BC Card.
KT, the parent company of BC Card, announced on the 25th that it had appointed Lee, former KT division head, as the president of BC Card on the 17th. Lee is expected to be officially appointed after the upcoming regular shareholders' meeting and board of directors' meeting next month.

Born in 1962, Lee graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Electronic Engineering and earned his master's and doctoral degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He joined KT in 1991 and has held positions such as Head of Technology Strategy at KT Comprehensive Technology Institute, Director of the Infrastructure Research Institute, Head of KT Convergence Technology Institute, and Head of KT Future Platform Business Division.
