SK Magic Surpasses 1.2 Million Cumulative Sales of Dishwashers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] SK Magic announced on the 25th that it has surpassed 1.2 million cumulative sales of dishwashers, the first in the industry.
Thanks to this strong sales performance, the company expects to continue leading the dishwasher market this year by exceeding 200% of last year's sales results. SK Magic's dishwasher sales last year increased by 258% compared to the previous year.
In particular, the representative product, the Power Wash dishwasher "Touch On," has sold more than 40,000 units since its launch in 2018. It features SK Magic's exclusive washing technology called "Power Wash," which sprays powerful water jets from rotating blades on the upper, middle, and lower levels. The design has also been enhanced with features such as a button that allows the door to be easily opened with just a touch.
The Triple Care dishwasher, introduced in January this year, surpassed 10,000 units sold in about two months. According to the company, it is the first product in Korea that offers total care, including dishwashing, drying, and storage functions.
An SK Magic official said, "SK Magic's dishwashers embody the know-how and technology of a 34-year lifestyle kitchen appliance specialist company," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide customers with the highest satisfaction by introducing innovative products and services that reflect consumer lifestyles and demands."
