40s COVID-19 Infection Found Dead at Home in Gyeongju... Could Be Third Fatality
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] A man in his 40s who was found dead in Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk, was confirmed to have been infected with COVID-19. He is reported to possibly be counted as the third death caused by COVID-19.
According to Gyeongju City and Gyeongju Police Station on the 22nd, a friend reported to the police that Mr. A, a man in his 40s, was found dead at his home in Gyeongju around 9 p.m. the previous day.
The police, based on statements from those around him that Mr. A had been treated at a hospital for cough and cold symptoms, requested testing from health authorities to confirm the cause of death. The health authorities notified that Mr. A tested positive for COVID-19 that afternoon.
