Three Additional COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Italy... One Experiencing Respiratory Distress
[Asia Economy Reporter Son Seonhee] It has been reported that three additional cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Italy.
According to local media on the 21st, the three confirmed cases include a 38-year-old man, his wife, and a contact of the man. It is presumed that the man was infected with COVID-19 after having a meal with a friend who had visited China.
The man is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit of Codogno Hospital in northern Italy and is reported to be experiencing severe respiratory distress. The friend who had the meal with him is also in isolation at a hospital in Milan.
