Man in His 40s Who Killed Cohabiting Woman Arrested by Police
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] A man in his 40s who killed his cohabiting partner during an argument at a drinking party was arrested by the police.
The Michuhol Police Station in Incheon announced on the 11th that they have detained Mr. A (45) on suspicion of murder and are currently investigating him.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing his cohabiting partner Ms. B (46) with a weapon on the second floor of a commercial-residential building in Juan-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, at around 10:15 p.m. on the 10th, causing her death.
According to the police, Mr. A called 119 himself after committing the crime and confessed to the act.
Mr. A was caught on the spot as a suspect by the police who responded to the fire department's joint response request.
Ms. B was found stabbed in the left back area and was taken to a nearby general hospital for treatment but died about an hour later.
It is understood that Mr. A committed the crime after an argument while drinking with Ms. B, with whom he lived.
