KAIT Holds Plaque Ceremony for Designation as ISO Auditor Training Institution
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Cho] The Korea Association for ICT Promotion (KAIT) announced on the 11th that it held a commemorative plaque ceremony on the 10th at the Association's ICT Certification Center to mark its designation as an ISO auditor training institution.
Since 2014, KAIT has been performing information security management system audit tasks as an ISMS-P audit institution. It has been designated as a training institution in three international standards: ISO9001 (Quality), ISO27001 (Information Security), and ISO19011 (Auditor Basic Module). Going forward, ISO-related training will be conducted at the KAIT ICT Certification Center's Information Security Education Institute.

Wonjin Cho, Director of the KAIT ICT Certification Center, stated, "The paradigm is shifting from government-led regulations to private sector-centered self-regulation," adding, "As an ISO auditor training institution, we will strive to advance quality management for domestic companies through the training of ISO auditors."
