Korea Railroad Delays First Half New Employee Recruitment Process by One Month Due to Novel Coronavirus Impact
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) announced on the 10th that it will postpone the first half of the year new employee recruitment process by one month to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia).
Accordingly, the written exam originally scheduled for the 21st of next month has been changed to April 25th, and the interview exam planned for mid-April has been rescheduled to June 1st to 4th.
However, the online application submission, document verification schedule, and appointment plan will proceed as originally planned.
The application submission period was from the 7th until today, the announcement of successful document verification candidates will be on the 20th, and the appointment date is at the end of June.
The recruitment process may be adjusted again depending on changes in government directives related to the novel coronavirus and other circumstances.
