View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Kim Tae-woo, a former investigator who reported the case of Cho Kuk, former Senior Secretary for Civil Affairs, interfering with the inspection of Yoo Jae-soo, and the whistleblower from the 'Burning Sun' scandal are joining the Unified New Party.
On the 10th, former investigator Kim expressed his intention to participate in and support the Unified New Party along with Kim Sang-kyo, a public whistleblower of the 'Burning Sun' case, Lee Dong-chan, co-representative of the Public Whistleblower Center, and Professor Ryu Jae-yong of Gyeongnam National University, who reported abuse of authority by the Ministry of Environment.
Former investigator Kim stated, "Despite committing numerous criminal acts, the Moon administration has shown shameless behavior that undermines constitutional order and the rule of law by unjust personnel actions against prosecutors investigating them under the pretext of reform." He added, "No longer able to overlook the hypocritical behavior of this government, my Public Whistleblower Center and like-minded whistleblowers have gathered here to stop the reckless actions of the Moon Jae-in administration."

He continued, "To judge former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk and the Moon Jae-in government, which have gone beyond common sense, and to create a fair and just Republic of Korea, the centrists and conservatives must unite without internal division and win the general election." He earnestly appealed, "I sincerely ask the public to join and support the cause of unifying centrists and conservatives."
