Damyang-gun Recruiting Companies to Participate in 'Youth Continuous Employment Incentive' Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeonnam (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 10th that it will recruit participating companies for the Jeonnam Youth Continuous Employment Incentive Support Project until the 6th of next month.
The Youth Continuous Employment Incentive is a project promoted to encourage long-term employment of young workers in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and to reduce the wage gap with large corporations. It provides incentives of up to 20 million KRW over four years to SMEs employing young workers in their 1st to 4th year of employment and to the workers themselves.
Eligible participating companies are those located in Damyang with 5 to fewer than 300 employees insured under employment insurance, and eligible youth are those aged 18 to 39 residing in Jeonnam who are employed by SMEs or similar companies.
Companies wishing to participate in the project can check the announcement section on the county website, prepare the application documents, and submit them by visiting or mailing to the Pulppuri Economy Division.
