Aekyung Industrial Provides Emergency Household Supplies to Repatriated Koreans from Wuhan
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo Yujin] Aekyung Industrial announced on the 7th that it will urgently support daily necessities for personal hygiene of Korean residents returning from Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, the epicenter of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia), in cooperation with the nonprofit organization Hope Sharing People.
The delivery ceremony for this daily necessities support will be held at 10 a.m. on the 7th at the temporary on-site office of the Governor of Chungcheongnam-do, near the Chungcheongnam-do Asan Police Human Resources Development Institute, the temporary living facility for Korean residents from Wuhan.
Aekyung Industrial will provide daily necessities such as toothpaste, shampoo, and laundry detergent worth approximately 300 million KRW based on consumer prices, as well as 10,000 yellow dust protective masks. The supported items will be primarily delivered to the Korean residents from Wuhan and socially marginalized groups such as low-income and elderly people in Chungcheongnam-do through the Chungnam Provincial Government.
The delivery ceremony will be attended by Chungcheongnam-do Governor Yang Seung-jo, Aekyung Industrial Executive Director Choi Yong-hee, and Hope Sharing People Chairman Kim Jeong-an.
