[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Moon Gisik) announced on the 6th that it will conduct a practical training program allowing two newly appointed firefighters to experience various firefighting tasks before being assigned to the field, until the 27th.
The two new firefighters will spend one week each at Hanam 119 Safety Center, the Rescue Team, and the Administrative Department, learning fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue, and administrative duties.
This program is conducted to help new firefighters assess their job aptitude and strengthen their field response capabilities through hands-on experience in each area, based on the training acquired at the Fire Academy, before their field assignment.
