4 New COVID-19 Patients Confirmed... Total 23 (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 6th that four additional patients have been confirmed.
The 20th patient is a 41-year-old Korean woman and a family member of the 15th confirmed case. She tested positive the day before during a test conducted while in self-quarantine and was isolated at the Armed Forces Capital Hospital.
The 21st patient is a 59-year-old Korean woman who had contact with the 6th confirmed case. She tested positive the day before during a test conducted while in self-quarantine and was isolated at Seoul National University Hospital.
The 22nd patient is a 46-year-old Korean man and a family member of the 16th confirmed case. He tested positive on the day during a test conducted while in self-quarantine and was isolated at Chosun University Hospital.
The 23rd patient is a 58-year-old Chinese woman who entered the country on the 23rd of last month for tourism purposes. A health center investigation confirmed a fever, and she tested positive on the day during a test conducted, so she is scheduled to be admitted to a government-designated isolation ward.

The KCDC stated, "Epidemiological investigations and quarantine measures are currently underway for the additional confirmed patients," and added, "Information from the epidemiological investigations will be disclosed as soon as it is confirmed."
