427 Apartment Units to Be Built in Seongnae 5 District, Gangdong-gu, Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] A 427-unit apartment complex will be built in the Seongnae 5 District area of Gangdong-gu, Seoul.
On the 4th, Seoul City held the 2nd Urban Redevelopment Committee meeting and announced on the 5th that it had approved a revised plan to change the redevelopment promotion plan for Seongnae 5 District in the Cheonho-Seongnae Redevelopment Promotion Zone at 15 Seongnae-dong, Gangdong-gu.
With the approval of this review, Seongnae 5 District has been changed from the existing 144-unit complex to 427 units (including 80 rental units). In addition, part of the planned park and road widths have been modified to donate public offices and public facilities as land and buildings.
Seongnae 5 District is a neighborhood commercial area where redevelopment had not progressed for a long time since the promotion plan was established in 2008. However, the promotion plan was revised based on the relaxed residential ratio standards in commercial and quasi-residential areas as part of the metropolitan area housing supply expansion plan.
