Dobong-gu Civil Defense Electronic Notification Sent to Smartphones
Civil Defense Members Receive Civil Defense Education and Training Notices via Smartphone (Kakao AlimTalk)... Register After Identity Verification at the 'Smart Civil Defense Electronic Notification Center (https://cdec.or.kr)'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dongjin Lee) is operating the ‘Smart Civil Defense Education and Training Electronic Notification System’ to allow civil defense personnel to receive training notices on their smartphones.
The electronic notification system departs from the traditional method of issuing paper notices by directly sending civil defense education and training notices to personnel via smartphone (Kakao AlimTalk). When personnel enter the training venue, they scan the QR code included in the electronic notice with a device to electronically record attendance.
Civil defense personnel affiliated with Dobong-gu who wish to receive electronic notifications can access the ‘Smart Civil Defense Electronic Notification Center (https://cdec.or.kr)’, enter basic information, and complete identity verification procedures.
After completing the training, civil defense personnel registered in the ‘Smart Civil Defense Education and Training Electronic Notification System’ can store their certificates on their smartphones instead of paper notices.
Last year, the district introduced ‘Smart Civil Defense Cyber Education,’ allowing civil defense personnel with five or more years of service to replace group training with cyber education, which received great response.
