50s Korean Man Dies on Flight to Vietnam... Authorities Investigating
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Vietnamese authorities are investigating after a Korean passenger in his 50s died on a Vietnam Airlines flight from Incheon to Hanoi.
According to local media including VN Express on the 3rd, on the 1st of this month at 6:05 PM, Vietnam Airlines flight VN415 bound for Hanoi took off from Incheon. About two hours after takeoff, Korean passenger A (56) experienced a health issue. A doctor on board performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for about 30 minutes, but A ultimately passed away.
The cause of A’s death has not been confirmed. The flight duration was approximately five hours. It is known that A showed no particular signs of health problems until completing departure procedures at Incheon Airport and boarding the aircraft. Vietnamese authorities are investigating the cause of A’s death.

The airline stated that A’s body was handed over to authorities immediately upon arrival at the airport, and the aircraft was disinfected, according to VN Express.
