[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Major European stock markets are showing a unified upward trend in early trading.
On the 31st (local time), Germany's DAX 30 index rose 23.46 points (0.18%) from the previous trading day to 13,180.58. France's CAC 40 index also increased by 0.27% to 5,887.38.
The UK and Spanish stock markets are also rising together. The UK's FTSE 100 index rose 0.09% to 7,388.82 compared to the previous trading day, and Spain's IBEX 35 index increased by 0.54% to 9,529.00. The strength in the Spanish index is attributed to the fourth-quarter economic growth rate recording 0.5%, higher than the expected 0.4%.
