Explosion of Homemade Bomb at Hong Kong Hospital... No Injuries Reported
An improvised bomb exploded at a hospital in Hong Kong, but no injuries were reported. According to the South China Morning Post on the 27th, the bomb detonated around 2:30 a.m. in a restroom at Caritas Medical Center in Chung Sha Wan, Hong Kong. White smoke and a small fire broke out, prompting patients and medical staff inside the hospital to evacuate immediately. Due to the low explosive power, there were no injuries. The police bomb disposal unit searched the scene and found broken glass bottles, batteries, and electrical circuits. The police strongly condemned the installation of the improvised bomb within the medical facility and stated they will make every effort to apprehend the perpetrator.
