Democratic Party Gwangju Branch, Lunar New Year Welcome Greetings for Returning Visitors

At the Gwangju Intercity Bus Terminal and KTX Songjeong Station, about 200 people including the Democratic Party's 21st general election preliminary candidates from the Gwangju area, elected officials belonging to the party, and party members participated simultaneously in the Lunar New Year greeting event, delivering greetings to visitors returning to their hometowns.
At the Gwangju Intercity Bus Terminal, the regional committees of Dong-gu Nam-gu (Eul), Seo-gu (Gap), Seo-gu (Eul), and Buk-gu (Gap) participated, while at KTX Songjeong Station, the regional committees of Dong-gu Nam-gu (Gap), Buk-gu (Eul), Gwangsan-gu (Gap), and Gwangsan-gu (Eul) took part.
The participants in the welcoming event promoted the Democratic Party of Korea's reform legislative achievements such as the Public Official Election Act amendment, the adjustment of investigative authority between the police and prosecution, and the passage of the Corruption Investigation Office Act. They also distributed promotional materials containing plans for stabilizing the people's livelihood economy and strengthening the social safety net in 2020 to citizens, pledging development for Gwangju.
