According to the Blue House, the President and First Lady visited the Nonghyup Agricultural and Marine Products Distribution Center in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, at around 9:30 a.m. that day. Blue House Deputy Spokesperson Han Jung-woo said, "This communication schedule is to share a warm holiday with the people for the Year of the Rat," adding, "The First Lady went shopping for Lunar New Year with the President and encouraged employees working during the holiday."
President Moon, together with the First Lady, visited the 'Farmers to U' store, which sells products directly produced, manufactured, and processed by farmers, listened to product explanations, and purchased some Lunar New Year seasonal items. Payment was made using the Rural Love Gift Certificate. They also met with producers to hear about their difficulties and had conversations.
Lee Hae-chan, leader of the Democratic Party, Lee In-young, floor leader, and other Democratic Party leadership visited Yongsan Station to greet returning travelers, continuing the tradition from last year. Former Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon, who returned to the party, also joined. After being proposed by the leader the previous day to run for Jongno and serve as co-chair of the joint election committee, former Prime Minister Lee held a press conference on-site immediately after greeting travelers and accepted the proposal.
