Anonymous Donor Delivers Donation to Gokseong-eup Administrative Welfare Center and Disappears
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] An anonymous donor has been quietly touching the local community by delivering a donation to the Gokseong-eup Administrative Welfare Center in Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do.
According to the Gokseong-eup Administrative Welfare Center on the 22nd, a middle-aged woman visited the center on the 21st, handed over an envelope, and immediately disappeared.
The woman said, "It's a small amount, but please use it for neighbors in need," and then disappeared through the entrance of the administrative welfare center. The staff who received the donation followed her immediately but could not express their gratitude as she had already vanished.
Inside the envelope the woman handed over was a note saying, "I want to share a small part of my heart with this place that warmly embraced and comforted me during difficult times," along with warm donations ranging from 1,000 won bills to 50,000 won bills.
The Gokseong-eup Administrative Welfare Center plans to use the donation to deliver rice (eight 20kg bags and one 10kg bag) to nine low-income elderly and child households in the area.
