'Time to Hunt' Invited to Berlinale Special Gala at Berlin International Film Festival
The film Time to Hunt has been invited to the Berlinale Special Gala section of the 70th Berlin International Film Festival, which opens on the 20th of next month. On the 21st (local time), the Berlin Film Festival Executive Committee officially announced Time to Hunt as an invited work in this section. The Berlinale Special Gala is a non-competitive section that highlights popular films and renowned filmmakers. This is the first time a Korean film has been invited to this category. The Berlin Film Festival praised Time to Hunt as “a thriller that creates intense tension, making it impossible for the audience to take their eyes off the screen.” The film depicts the story of four friends planning a dangerous operation for a new life and a mysterious pursuer chasing them. It stars Lee Je-hoon, Ahn Jae-hong, Choi Woo-shik, Park Jung-min, and Park Hae-soo. The film is directed by Yoon Sung-hyun, who gained attention with Bleak Night (2011). It will be released domestically next month.
