First, with the implementation of the nation’s first ‘Childcare Teacher Sabbatical Leave System,’ childcare teachers at daycare centers, who have endured hard work but found it difficult to take leave, will be guaranteed up to 5 days of sabbatical leave annually.
Additionally, to provide high-quality snacks such as fruit and eco-friendly ingredients to children using daycare centers, the snack allowance per child will be increased from 8,000 KRW to 12,000 KRW per month starting this year.

To reduce the childcare fee burden for children aged 3 to 5 using private and home daycare centers, the parental share of childcare fees will be expanded from the existing 50% to 100%. Accordingly, the childcare support fund within the jurisdiction is expected to increase from 74,000 KRW to 90,000 KRW per child per month.
