A Seoul city official stated, "Although the Ahyeon (traditional) market is located nearby, the local conditions show poor provision of parking services. The 2030 Seoul Living Area Plan also analyzed that securing parks and parking lots is necessary in the Ahyeon living area (Ahyeon-dong, Yeomni-dong, Gongdeok-dong, Daehyeong-dong). Therefore, securing this public parking lot is expected to greatly contribute to improving the parking environment in this area."
