Gangnam-gu to Provide Up to 15 Million KRW Support for Lifelong Learning Programs
Recruitment of Organizations and Groups to Participate in 3 Project Areas by February 7 ... Project Briefing Session to be Held on the 30th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) is recruiting institutions and organizations to participate in the 'Lifelong Learning Support Project' until February 7.
The Lifelong Learning Support Project consists of three areas: ▲'Specialized Program Support Project' to discover and support residents who have difficulty participating in learning ▲designation of 'Our Neighborhood Learning Centers' to create nearby learning spaces ▲and the lifelong learning day '4W Learning Day.'
The 'Specialized Program Support Project' is divided into ▲Network Type (collaboration among institutions and organizations) ▲Inclusion (targeting marginalized groups) ▲Social Re-engagement (supporting residents' volunteer work and talent donation), with funding up to 15 million KRW depending on the project scale.
'Our Neighborhood Learning Centers' designate idle facilities such as apartment community centers, academies, and cafes within the region as learning spaces. Following support for 8 locations last year, 2 additional locations will be supported this year, with up to 5 million KRW provided depending on the project type.
'4W Learning Day' designates the fourth Wednesday (4W) of every month as 'Lifelong Learning Day' to hold events, providing between 1.8 million and 3 million KRW for up to 9 projects.
