Hampyeong-gun Operates 'Mental Health Hanul Rehabilitation Program'
Twice a week until December 17
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 21st that it will operate the Mental Health Hanul Rehabilitation Program twice a week (every Tuesday and Friday) until December 17.
This program, operated by the Hampyeong-gun Public Health Center through the local Dementia Safety Center, was established to prevent relapse in patients with mental illnesses and to enhance their social adaptation abilities.
The main programs include ▲ cognitive rehabilitation ▲ improvement of daily living skills ▲ music behavior therapy (Nanta drumming and Bukchigi) ▲ stress relief and emotional stabilization ▲ medication and symptom management ▲ expert education, among others.

Participation is open to any mentally disabled person registered at the local Dementia Safety Center or any mentally disabled resident in the area who requires emotional treatment.
