Democratic Party Appoints Yoon Kwan-seok as Chair of General Election Pledge Planning Committee
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] The Democratic Party of Korea has appointed Yoon Kwan-seok, Senior Deputy Chairman of the Policy Committee, as the chairman of the General Election Pledge Planning Group.
On the 20th, the Democratic Party held a Supreme Council meeting and decided to operate the General Election Pledge Planning Group as an ad hoc special committee.
The deputy chairpersons include Ko Yong-jin, Deputy Floor Leader, Baek Won-woo, Vice President of the Democratic Research Institute, Jung Tae-ho, former Presidential Secretary for Jobs, Kim Yong-jin, former Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance, Lee Hoon and Kim Byung-wook, standing deputy chairmen of the Policy Committee, and Kim Jung-woo, secretary of the National Assembly Planning and Finance Committee.
In addition, the Democratic Party established a Special Committee for Semiconductor Industry Development. The chairpersons are Lee Hwa-young, former Deputy Governor for Peace of Gyeonggi Province, and Kim Yong-jin, former Second Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance.
