The Financial Supervisory Service announced that on the 20th, Governor Yoon visited Mangwon Market located in Mapo-gu, Seoul, along with KB Kookmin Bank and Kia Daecheok (an international relief organization), purchasing daily necessities such as rice cakes, meat, and dried seafood with sponsorship funds jointly prepared with KB Kookmin Bank, and delivered them to about 30 social welfare organizations. The total value of daily necessities delivered to welfare organizations, including traditional market gift certificates, reached 59 million KRW.
Additionally, he listened to the difficulties of merchants while directly purchasing daily necessities at Mangwon Market that day.
Governor Yoon said, "It is very meaningful to purchase high-quality products from traditional markets ahead of the Lunar New Year and deliver them to social welfare organizations," adding, "The Financial Supervisory Service plans to continue sharing activities that provide strength and comfort to neighbors in need in order to fulfill its social responsibility."
