Recruitment for National Assembly Election 'TV Debate Academy' Participants
Anyone Planning to Run Can Apply Until February 5
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Yoseop] The Busan Election Broadcasting Debate Commission is opening a 'TV Debate Academy' to strengthen the debate skills of prospective candidates for the 21st National Assembly election and is recruiting participants.
According to the Busan Election Broadcasting Debate Commission on the 16th, the TV Debate Academy, which will be held at Busan MBC on the 14th of next month, is targeted at prospective candidates from Busan, Daegu, Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions. Anyone intending to run in the election can apply. Participation is free of charge.
Prospective candidates who wish to participate should fill out an application form and submit it to the Busan Election Broadcasting Debate Commission by email or fax by the 5th of next month.
The academy will be conducted by professional broadcasters, including current and former announcers, and will offer various programs such as understanding election broadcast debates, TV debate broadcast practice, and image making.
Lee Hak-su, Chairman of the Busan Election Broadcasting Debate Commission, stated, "Through this academy, we hope that candidate debates will be conducted more substantively, helping voters in choosing their candidates."
