Gwangju City, together with autonomous districts, plans to inspect and repair streetlights that are on or off and unsuitable road lighting facilities in areas with heavy traffic of returning visitors, such as highway entrances and exits, major arterial roads, and the municipal cemetery park.
The main inspection items include the on/off status, illumination level, proper operation of leakage circuit breakers, and facilities that impair aesthetics.
Facilities found to be unsuitable during the inspection will be immediately repaired to prevent inconveniences and safety accidents that may occur at night.
