Providing Cultural Arts and Performance Participation Opportunities for Out-of-School Youth
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family will sign a cultural and artistic project exchange agreement with Sejong Center for the Performing Arts on the 14th to expand youth cultural capabilities.
This agreement aims to provide job experience opportunities to youth interested in careers in the cultural and artistic fields and to support diverse cultural activities for young people.
From now on, in addition to student IDs, youth IDs will also grant discount benefits when watching performances at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. Youth IDs can be issued at nearby eup, myeon, or dong community service centers regardless of the holder’s address.
Furthermore, out-of-school youth will have opportunities to receive guidance from professionals in culture, arts, and performance fields, and youth residing in welfare facilities aspiring to become artists, as well as youth with migrant backgrounds, will be able to explore career paths.
