[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Yeosu City in Jeonnam announced on the 13th that it will operate a direct transaction market for Yeosu agricultural and marine specialty products at the plazas of Gangseo-gu Office, Seodaemun-gu Office, and Dobong-gu Office in Seoul from the 14th to the 16th in celebration of the traditional Korean holiday, Seollal.
This event was organized to increase the income of local farmers and fishermen and to revitalize the local economy. Eight companies, including Dolsan Gat Agricultural Cooperative Corporation, will participate and sell 34 items such as Dolsan Gat Kimchi, Geomundo sea breeze mugwort rice cakes and tea, and dried seafood.
In particular, consumers in the Seoul area can purchase high-quality Yeosu agricultural and marine specialty products, which come directly from the production site, at prices 10% to 20% lower than market prices.
