The aim is to prevent fraud crimes that damage the community and thereby enhance trust in our society.
At a press conference on the 13th, Commissioner Min responded to a question about the areas of focus for the new year. He stated, "Trust is based on not deceiving others with lies to cause harm." He added, "In the past, people might have said, 'Oh, that's just bad luck,' but such acts undermine the trust essential for the community's existence," expressing his determination to crack down on fraud crimes.
Commissioner Min emphasized, "In the second half of last year, we cracked down on the '3 No Frauds' affecting ordinary citizens: voice phishing, fraudulent fundraising and pyramid schemes, and internet fraud. Especially, methods using the internet have become more sophisticated, with diverse and cunning deceptions, so we will focus on strict enforcement."
