The New Year's organizational restructuring was carried out based on the implementation of administrative organization and manpower diagnosis, gathering various opinions from employees.
Jangheung-gun is known to have implemented this work- and task-centered reorganization to discover future growth engines for the region and to promote efficient work execution.
The establishment of the Future Innovation Division is a strategic move to align with Jeollanam-do's policy direction, which declared the Blue Economy vision in July last year. The division is organized with the goal of fostering regional new growth industries such as Blue Economy, Blue Landscape, Biopharmaceuticals, and Integrated Medical Teams. It plans to discover promising industries in Jangheung-gun reflecting government policies and regional characteristics, and focus on building green tourism resources that highlight distinctive landscapes.
The Future Innovation Division's role also includes creating a sustainable Jeongnamjin Jangheung by fostering future industries utilizing local blue resources, such as discovering various projects in the biopharmaceutical field leading future industries and developing integrated medicine content.
