The Election Commission announced on the 12th that it will hold a full committee meeting at 3 p.m. on the 13th at the National Election Commission building in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province to discuss the possibility of using the party name 'Proportional OO Party.'
At this meeting, the Election Commission plans to decide on the use of the names for three parties preparing to be established, including the satellite party created by the Liberty Korea Party, the 'Proportional Liberty Korea Party,' as well as the Proportional Democratic Party and the Proportional Korea Party. The commission consists of nine members, and a quorum is established with a majority of members present, with decisions made by a majority of those present.
Meanwhile, regarding the approval of the 'Proportional OO Party' name, the Liberty Korea Party and the Democratic Party of Korea have expressed opposing positions.
