[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Emart announced its preliminary earnings on the 10th, reporting total sales of 1,253.9 billion KRW in December last year. This represents a 2.8% decrease compared to the same period of the previous year.
Specifically, sales at discount stores, Traders, and specialty stores increased by 2.2%, 23.2%, and 7.9% respectively compared to the same period last year. However, the same-store sales growth rate for total offline sales was minus 3.3%.
