UK Foreign Secretary: "Iran's Attack on US Military Base Reckless"

According to BBC on the 8th (local time), British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab made this remark regarding Iran's actions.
Secretary Raab expressed concern about casualties from this attack and emphasized that war in the Middle East only benefits terrorist groups.
Stephen Barclay, Secretary of State for Brexit, also said on BBC, "War benefits no side." Secretary Barclay stated that Prime Minister Boris Johnson is scheduled to report on the situation to the House of Commons that day and will discuss it during a meeting with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, who is the head of the European Union (EU) executive branch.
Hamid Baeidinejad, Iranian Ambassador to the UK, said in a statement posted on Twitter that "this attack is in self-defense, and Iran does not want war or escalation of tensions."
