Mr. Jeong Hak-geun Selected as May's 5·18 Democratic Merit Awardee
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The National 5·18 Democratic Cemetery Management Office (Director Ahn Jin-hyung) announced on the 8th that Mr. Jeong Hak-geun has been selected as the 5·18 Democratic Merit Recipient of the Month.
Mr. Jeong joined the military protest vehicles and was shot and killed by martial law troops in front of the provincial government building during the protest on May 21, 1980.
