Daegu City Holds 'Winter Wild Animal Feeding' Event
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Yushin] Daegu City and the Daegu Nature Conservation Volunteer Group will hold a wild animal feeding event in the Palgongsan area on the 11th.
About 40 participants will supply approximately 400 kg of food including corn, hulled barley, perilla seeds, sorghum, peanuts, and napa cabbage.
The food will be placed near wild animal pathways to allow hungry animals to eat during the winter. To prevent the food from becoming a source for wild boars, which are known carriers of African swine fever, a wild boar repellent will be mixed into the feed.
