Inha University Partners with Local Governments to Prepare for Blockchain Future... Education Provided at 16 Middle and High Schools

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Inha University is preparing the blockchain future with middle and high school students in the Incheon area.
Inha University announced on the 8th that it will operate a blockchain education program for students from 16 middle and high schools in cooperation with Yeonsu-gu and Michuhol-gu in Incheon.
This program is organized by the Inha University Blockchain Center and is designed as a four-month course. Participating schools include 12 from Yeonsu-gu and 4 from Michuhol-gu. The number of participating students is expected to be about 240.
The education covers basic blockchain concepts and theory, practical exercises using games, and project planning exercises. Additionally, there will be sessions discussing the social and philosophical values of this technology. Lectures will explain the 'decentralization', the era of openness and sharing, and the digital economy that the blockchain world will bring.
The lectures will be led by researchers from the Blockchain Major at Inha University Graduate School of Engineering. The economic field will be handled by Kim Jeong-eun, Deputy Director of the Blockchain Center, while the technology and practical fields will be managed by Professor Jo Won-gyu of the Blockchain Major and researcher Lee Ji-yeon.
Previously, from July to December last year, Inha University conducted a pilot education program at four middle and high schools in Yeonsu-gu and recently held a performance presentation. The pilot education consisted of 18 sessions per school, including 14 classes and 4 project practice sessions.
At the presentation titled "Yeonsu-gu, Future Talent! Meeting Blockchain," students from Insong Middle School presented "Creating a School Coin Based on Blockchain," students from Shinsong Middle School explained "A Secondhand Trading Platform Using Blockchain," Daegun High School students presented "WRITE, SHARE, MODIFY," and Posco High School presented "Blockchain Business for Vehicle Driving Information," respectively.
