Kiwoom Securities ELS Subscription Customers Receive 50,000 KRW Cash Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] Kiwoom Securities announced on the 8th that it will hold an event until the 28th of next month, providing 50,000 KRW in cash to customers who subscribe to ELS (Equity-Linked Securities).
Kiwoom Securities will select 20 customers who purchase public offering ELS sold by Kiwoom Securities and apply for the event, and pay them 50,000 KRW in cash. Currently, there are three types of ELS being sold, and subscriptions can be made through the Kiwoom Securities website, the mobile app Youngwoongmun S, the Kiwoom Asset Management app, or by visiting Kiwoom Securities.
The three Kiwoom Securities ELS products launched this time have different underlying assets and maturities but are all step-down early redemption type ELS, sharing the common feature of a knock-in barrier at 50%. In other words, as long as the prices of the underlying stocks do not fall below 50% of the initial reference price, profits are earned and redemption occurs.
'Kiwoom No. 1211 ELS' has a maturity of 3 years and an expected pre-tax annual return of 10.1%. The underlying assets are the EUROSTOXX50 index, SK Hynix common stock, and KB Financial common stock. Early redemption opportunities occur every 6 months, and if all underlying assets are at or above 90% (6 months, 12 months), 85% (18 months, 24 months), 80% (30 months), and 75% (36 months) of the initial reference price, a pre-tax annual return of 10.1% is paid. Even if early redemption does not occur, if the underlying assets have never fallen below 50% of the initial reference price during the investment period, redemption at maturity will be made with a pre-tax return of 30.3%. However, if the underlying assets have fallen below 50% of the initial reference price at any time, principal loss may occur.
'Kiwoom No. 1212 ELS' is an ELS based on global stock indices. It has a maturity of 3 years and an expected pre-tax annual return of 5.4%. The underlying assets are the S&P 500 index, EUROSTOXX50 index, and HSCEI index. If all underlying assets are at or above 95% (6 months), 90% (12 months), 85% (18 months), 80% (24 months), 75% (30 months), and 70% (36 months) of the initial reference price, redemption occurs with a pre-tax annual return of 5.4%. The knock-in barrier is 50%.
