On the afternoon of the previous day, Citibank signed a sponsorship agreement for ‘Impact Career Y (Youth)’ with Root Impact at Heyground Seoul Forest branch in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and delivered approximately 230 million KRW (USD 200,000) in sponsorship funds from the Citi Foundation.
Impact Career Y is a program designed to support young talents’ successful employment and overall work life through continuous networking with social ventures. Last year, it provided direct support for job training and recruitment through job competency enhancement education, career forums, and job fairs. This year, practical training was added to offer more substantial help to participants.
Starting in March, a new industry-academia cooperation program called ‘Impact Project,’ which connects social venture organizations with universities, will be launched. The social venture ‘Doctor Noah,’ which promotes eco-friendly businesses, will participate in this project. Additionally, plans include organizing the ‘Changemaker Career Conference’ to discuss specific jobs in the social venture and social impact fields, as well as various training programs to help new employees of social venture organizations adapt.
