A Man in His 50s Urgently Arrested for Wielding a Weapon at Female Salon Owner in Broad Daylight
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] A man in his 50s who entered a hair salon where a female owner was alone during the daytime and wielded a weapon was arrested by the police.
The Seodaemun Police Station in Seoul announced on the 6th that they had urgently arrested and were investigating a man in his 50s, Mr. A, on suspicion of attempted murder.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing Ms. B, a woman in her 50s who was alone at a hair salon in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, at around 11:30 a.m. on the 4th. Ms. B was taken to the hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.

Mr. A fled immediately after the crime but was arrested by the police at around 1 p.m. the next day in Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi Province. The police plan to investigate Mr. A in detail regarding the motive and intend to apply for an arrest warrant.
