Gwangju Bank Launches '2020 Haetteuji Savings' to Celebrate the Year of the Rat
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 6th that it has been selling the ‘2020 Haetteuji Savings’ since the 2nd to welcome the new year of 2020, the Year of the Rat.
The ‘2020 Haetteuji Savings’ is a flexible installment savings product available for one account per person, with a contract period within one year, a minimum subscription amount of 50,000 KRW, and flexible deposits up to a monthly limit of 300,000 KRW.
The basic interest rate is 1.3% per annum, and it offers ▲ a preferential interest rate of 0.3%p per annum for new customers ▲ and an additional 0.1%p to 0.4%p per annum depending on the number of days deposits are made via account transfers from the customer’s own deposit and withdrawal account, allowing for a maximum preferential interest rate of 0.7%p per annum.
To commemorate the launch of ‘2020 Haetteuji Savings,’ Gwangju Bank is running two events: ▲ Use Gwangju Bank Open Banking Service and get preferential interest rates! ▲ Bundle recommendation codes and double up for those born in the Year of the Rat!
First, ‘Use Gwangju Bank Open Banking Service and get preferential interest rates!’ allows customers who transfer 10,000 KRW or more from another bank account to a Gwangju Bank account using the Open Banking Service and then subscribe to the savings between the 2nd and the 28th of next month to receive an additional preferential interest rate of 0.2%p per annum. This is limited to customers who have agreed to SMS marketing.
‘Bundle recommendation codes and double up for those born in the Year of the Rat!’ offers an additional preferential interest rate ranging from 0.2%p to a maximum of 0.8%p per annum depending on the number of accounts sharing the recommendation code among customers who subscribe between the 2nd and June 30th. For customers born in the ‘Year of the Rat’ according to their resident registration among those who meet the recommendation code sharing criteria, the preferential interest rate is doubled, allowing for a maximum preferential interest rate of 1.6%p per annum.
Customers who meet the product preferential interest rate and event conditions can receive an interest rate of up to 3.8% per annum, attracting customer interest from the first day of subscription.
