Gapul Sangsa donates 20% of 'Orbis Stella' profits to international animal protection organization
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] KBI Group announced on the 6th that its affiliate Gap-Eul Sangsa will donate a portion of the sales revenue from the fashion brand 'Orbis Stella' to an international animal protection organization.
Orbis Stella sells products made from leather alternative materials. Launched last month through the crowdfunding platform Wadiz under the slogan "Fashion does not require the sacrifice of animals," it introduced seven types of tweed mini bags and three types of bucket bags.
Starting this year, 20% of the profits will be regularly donated to international animal protection organizations, reflecting the hearts of customers who love animals and purchase the products.
Park Su-kyung, team leader of Gap-Eul Sangsa, said, "More than one billion animals worldwide are cruelly abused every year solely for the production of leather and fur," adding, "Orbis Stella is developing high-end products using alternative materials."
