A man in his 50s who injured a man in his 60s by swinging a blunt weapon in front of a fried chicken restaurant in Bucheon, Gyeonggi, was arrested by the police.

According to the Bucheon Sosa Police Station on the 6th, Mr. A (55) was booked on charges of special assault. Mr. A is accused of swinging a tool used for scrap metal collection at the head of customer Mr. B (62) in front of a fried chicken restaurant in Sosa-gu, Bucheon City, at 6:54 p.m. the previous day, causing injury.
Mr. B sustained a head injury and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
It was investigated that Mr. A approached Mr. B, who was waiting outside after ordering fried chicken, and provoked him by saying, "You look like you fight well," before committing the crime.
He is known to be a worker at a scrap metal collection company near the fried chicken restaurant.
A police official stated, "Mr. A was not intoxicated at the time of the incident, but he is rambling when asked about the motive for the crime," and added, "We plan to decide whether to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. A after investigating him once Mr. B completes his treatment."
