Yeongdeungpo District Residents' Self Health Checkup 'U-Health Zone' Introduced
Providing Mobile Health Management Service Easily Using Unmanned Systems... Offering Personalized Health Information Linked with Metabolic Syndrome Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Chaehyun Il) announced that starting in January, it will operate one self-health management system 'U-Health Zone (Ubiquitous Health Zone)' each at the public health center and the health branch office (next to Daerim 1-dong Community Center) to promote the health of its residents.
The self-health management system 'U-Health Zone' is an unmanned health checkup system that uses vein pattern (finger) biometric authentication. The district introduced the unmanned system called 'U-Health Zone' to allow more residents to easily use the health checkup and management services previously provided at the Metabolic Syndrome Center, and newly presents it to the residents.
Anyone can easily use the 'U-Health Zone' with a simple membership registration that takes about 3 minutes, and the health checkup results using 'U-Health Zone' can be viewed at a glance anywhere through the smartphone app ‘MyCaddy’.
Customized health management information such as nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle rules is also provided according to the individual's health status measured by the checkup results.
The measurable test items include blood pressure, mental health (stress), weight, body composition and body fat mass, and height. In particular, it is interesting that by measuring the finger, it precisely analyzes changes in heartbeats, allowing users to know their stress level, vascular aging, and blood circulation status.
Visitors to the 'U-Health Zone' first register their phone number and vein pattern through the membership registration process at the kiosk, and after identity verification via the registered phone number or vein pattern, they can measure body fat mass, blood pressure, stress, etc. at the unmanned terminal.
The measurement results are sent to the kiosk or the smartphone app ‘MyCaddy’. Through this, users can know their current health status and whether management is needed for obesity, blood pressure, etc.
The 'U-Health Zone' is available to all residents, and the operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.
