[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Yoseop] On the 3rd, Busan Mayor Oh Keo-don, his wife, and Busan City Council member Gu Kyung-min visited the first business site supporting the economic independence of single mothers.
According to Busan City on the 3rd, the business site located inside Busan Station helps single mothers raise their children through direct employment and support for economic activities.
Last August, Busan City signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korail, Korail Distribution, and the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation to support the establishment of business sites. Currently, five single mothers are working at the first business site.

Mayor Oh stated, “We will do our best to support children to grow properly and be emotionally stable,” and promised, “Based on the successful operation of the first business site, we will actively support the establishment of second and third business sites to create a foundation for the economic independence of single mothers.”
