PSY Grabs Best Video Prize at MTV Europe Music Awards

International sensation PSY has become the first Korean singer to scoop a main prize at the MTV Europe Music Awards[EMA].

The rapper-singer won the Best Video prize with his infectious music video “Gangnam Style” at the 2012 MTV EMA, held in the western German city Frankurt on last Sunday in local time. After receiving the prize, PSY expressed his gratitude to his family and fans loving “Gangnam Style” all over the world, stressing a big support from his country, South Korea.

The iconic star garnered an enthusiastic response from the audience at the award ceremony, broadcast live to about 60 countries, by performing his popular horse-riding dance.

While promoting "Gangnam Style" to the international music scene, the 35-year-old singer is set to make his appearance on American TV channel NBC’s hit talk show “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on November 22.
